At A’Diva we aspire to a high standard of training in a relaxed
one-on-one atmosphere which we are sure you will find satisfactory. Our
courses are based on the guidelines of the Australian Hairdressing
Curriculum package and taught by a accredited TAFE tutor with 30 years
experience in Hairdressing.
We advise that you use our modules along with an accredited TAFE based
hairdressing Stage III course in enabling you to be fully qualified in
Hairdressing Certificate III.
At the end of the course each student will be given a certificate of
participation which will enable them to attain RPL (Recognition of Prior
Learning) on other course modules.
We offer several courses as you will see from the information forwarded

Students may select training workshops for the following procedures:
Bonding (silicone or fingernail glue)
Wefts (horizontal, cylinders, sewn-on, lace front, French lacing)
Braiding
Corn-rows—twist
Dreadlocks—candy locks
Afro-hair (Straightening, Perming, Relaxing Cuts, Blowdry, Colouring
products and usage)
Course Structures
Training For Work:
This course is available to those who have been unemployed for a
considerable length of time and wish to retrain for work. This course
would give them some insight into the hairdressing industry and help
prepare them for entrance into Certificate III in hairdressing.
Learning for Work:
This training programme is designed for year 10 to 12 students wishing
to experience working in the hairdressing industry. Or just wanting to
learn about hair styling and makeup, these would be a two day courses.
Up-skill:
These courses would be aimed at qualified hairdressers and beauty
therapists. Wanting a more in-depth knowledge of hair-extension,
hair-relaxation, hair-straightening, afro-products, and afro-hair
maintenance.
Hair-maintenance:
This course would be aimed at mothers an anyone wanting to know how to
manage the whole family’s hair especially the afro-type heads. This
course would be held over a period of one to two days.
Fees: Courses will be priced individually, depending on length of time
and course content. (See individual course structure). Some courses will
