Introduction.
Students view instructional videos covering all aspects of hair
extension applications which will be part of practical training.
Lectures on
* Origin and types of hair, various processing methods
* Health and safety issues.
* Aftercare instructions for maintaining the integrity of
extensions (washing, conditioning)
Lecture on equipment and maintenance.
Lunch break.
Practical demonstration by tutor:
* Students will be shown how to operate equipment.
* Using a mannequin head, students will be taught how to safely
and correct make up and apply an extension, following a specific
pattern to create overall length and volume.
* Mixing and matching of colours.
* Bond removal.
Demonstration by tutor on Cutting and Styling Techniques.
Students will practice the use of equipment and making up and
attaching single extensions.
Evaluation by tutor.Courses are held on Mondays 9am to
5pm. |
Hair Extension Training Program
2A
Day 2 of extended training program
Students are required to bring along a live model. If this is not
possible, they may work on a mannequin head.
Under the tutors supervision, students will undertake their chosen
extension procedure from start to finish on a whole or partial head.
This process will start with client consultation, choosing the hair and
method of extension application.
On completion of the extension application, students will be taught
how to cut and style the hair extension to suit their clients needs.
Students will finally be required to instruct their clients on
aftercare and maintenance procedures.
At the end of the day, students will be given a written assessment
and a practical evaluation on their complete model.
A Certificate of Attainment will be awarded to students who have
accomplished the required standards. The tutor may invite students who
have not mastered their chosen techniques to a satisfactory level to
attend a further day of training.
Kits and accessories are available at discounted prices if purchased
from Adiva Hair & Extension Centre at the time of booking the training
course.
Courses are held on Tuesdays 5.30pm to 9pm.
Chemical Relaxing & Perming
2day Training Program 2B
Students will learn about Chemical Hair Relaxing and Permanent Wave,
client consultations, hair and scalp analysis, relaxer tests, strand
tests.
Detailed lectures will cover the use of relaxing and perm products,
correct application procedures, hairstyling tools and techniques,
maintenance and after-care.
Courses will be held on Mondays from 9am to 5pm and Tuesdays 5.30pm to 9pm.
